Abbey Splash Pad

You'll find Abbey splashpad behind Abbey pool, simply follow the path from the car park round to the back of the pool. With 11 water features, including tipping buckets, water cannons, and spray jets, kids and grown-ups can enjoy the wonders of water and play. Picnic benches are also available. You can park for free at Abbey Leisure Complex, where you'll also find toilets and conveniences. Please make sure children are supervised by an adult at all times. 

Kings Hedges Splash Pad

Kings Hedges Splash Pad is located in the children’s playpark next to Kings Hedges Learner Pool. You can park for free in Buchan Street car park but please bear in mind, space is limited. You'll find toilets in the centre.

Please note: the splash pad operates on a limited schedule of running for around 15 minutes and then needing to refill the tank – so there will be a delay and the features won’t operate while it does this. Advice is to wait for 20 minutes before trying again and after this time seek assistance from the Learner Pool. Please make sure children are supervised by an adult at all times. 

Coleridge Paddling Pool and Splash Pad

Cool off at Coleridge paddling pool and splash pad. Located  in Coleridge recreation ground, next to a playground, you'll find a shallow paddling pool to splash about it and splash pad feature. You can park along Davy Road. And with picnic benches and public toilets in the park, you have everything you need to get active with water in Cambridge. Please make sure children are supervised by an adult at all times. 

Cherry Hinton Paddling Pool

You can find Cherry Hinton Paddling Pool next to the children's play area at Cherry Hinton Hall Park. You can park at the entrance to park (for a small charge). With  two paddling pools - one for babies and toddlers, one for older children, it has a beach entry, no catering and public toilets in the park. Please make sure children are supervised by an adult at all times.

Lammas Land Paddling Pool

Located in Lammas Land park by the children’s play area, Lammas Land Paddling Pool parking in Lammas Land car park is chargeable, café on site, public toilets on site)

 

Sheep’s Green Paddling Pool

Located in Lammas Land park by the river, Sheep's Green Paddling Pool is just under a metre deep (0.9m) and requires adult supervision for children. There is a first aid member of staff present but not lifeguarded, toilet available on site, changing rooms available on site, cafe in Lammas Land, parking in Lammas Land car park – is chargeable. Open different hours to the rest of the above as this is staffed, it has a fence around it that is padlocked close. Opening hours during term times are Monday-Friday 3.30pm-6.30pm, Sat & Sun 10am – 6pm. Opening hours during school holidays are Mon-Sun 10am-6pm.
