Continued Track Closure

The 400m track was due to reopen today, however unfortunately due to the recent bad weather with Storm Babet and Storm Ciaran, the contractors have been unable to progress during the continuous poor conditions. The track closure will continue for the next two weeks until the 25th November.

This Wednesday brings more rain and we are working closely with our contractors to mitigate further inclement weather delays and complete as much as the planned work as possible. The remainder of the repair work will follow as planned in Spring next year.

A reminder that the indoor track is open and available for use. GLL will share comms about the continued stadium track closure shortly.

The temporary floodlights have arrived on site and will be ready to go once the track is reopened.
