Water Sports Open Day - Monday 6th May

Following the success of our first Water Sports Open Day last August, we will be holding another one on the 6th May to coincide with the May Day bank holiday.

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) are once again our partners in this event, by providing funding which has enabled us to increase the number of spaces available for people to take part. NHG will also be helping us to provide follow on opportunities to local young people after the event.

On the day we will be offering a range of free activities, which are available for children aged 8 years and above and families.

These exciting activities will take place from 10am to 4pm on the day and will include the opportunity to try a kayaking group session or a sailing ride around the reservoir. 

The event will also include a free lunch for participants that will be served during a break in the session from 12-12.30pm.

Attendance at the event will work on a first come first served basis on the day of the event, so no pre booking is available. Doors will open at 9.45am. This is so that the activity is as accessible as possible.

Please note, the activities are aimed at providing an opportunity for those living locally to West Reservoir to access the water. We will not turn away anyone coming from further afield but we would ask everyone to be considerate of whether they are able to access the facilities on another day.
