Rosemary Gardens Football Pitch and Tennis Courts
Tufnell Park Playing Fields
Tufnell Park Playing Fields are situated to the north west of the London Borough of Islington. They provide Islington’s only full-size grass football pitch. Plus, with cricket nets, tennis courts, a playground and a public open space; this park offers something for everyone. Tufnell Park Playing Fields are open from 8am and are subject to the Islington's park closing times.

Whittington Park Football Pitch
Whittgton Park is situated to the north east of Islington. Set near to the entrance of the park itself, the Whittington Park Football Pitch is ideal for football and can also accommodate recreational hockey. The pitch is 103m x 66m, making it perfect for 11-a-side and 6-a-side football. This much-valued community pitch is home to various clubs and teams.

William Tyndale School Football Pitch
Part of William Tyndale Primary School, this third-generation floodlit football pitch is available for public use in the evenings and on weekends. The pitch is 32m x 23m, making it perfect for 5-a-side football. It can be accessed from the community entrance at the back of the school and is conveniently located just off Upper Street behind the Islington Town Hall. Please note that this pitch is located in a residential area and as such it is kindly requested that noise is kept to a moderate level.

Wray Crescent Cricket Pitch
Wray Crescent Cricket Pitch is Islington's only cricket pitch and is situated to the north west of Islington. Wray Crescent Cricket Pitch has an artificial wicket, a grass outfield and practice nets. It is open from: 1st April – 31st October, 1pm – dusk.

Market Road Football Pitches
The Market Road Football Pitches are situated next door to the Islington Tennis Centre and Gym in the north west of the London Borough of Islington. It has two full-size third-generation artificial surface pitches that are marked for 11-a-side and 5-a-side football and three five-a-side pitches. With leagues, block bookings and a comprehensive programme for juniors (including birthday parties); our pitches are the first choice for football players in Islington. There is a training room overlooking the pitches ideal for courses. You can book online up to 7 days in advance, or in person at the Islington Tennis Centre and Gym, up to 28 days in advance.

Highbury Fields Courts And Pitches
Highbury Fields Courts and Pitches are situated in the heart of the London Borough of Islington just a short walk from Highbury & Islington Station. There are the following floodlit facilities; 11 tarmac tennis courts, a seven-a-side artificial turf football pitch, four tarmac netball courts and basketball hoops for casual use. The tennis courts are open from 8.00am till 9pm all year round.

Finsbury Square Bowling Green
Finsbury Square is a rare Central London park in that it has a bowling green which can be hired for casual bowls right in the heart of London. As a London city park, Finsbury Square offers:

- Refreshments

The facility is open between 7th May – 27th September 2024 and bookings can be made in advance between 12pm-9pm Monday-Friday during May-August and 12pm-7pm Monday-Friday in September.

Barnard Park Football Pitch
Barnard Park is situated to the central West of Islington. The park is currently under refurbishment and a new 9-a-side artificial football and rugby pitch has been completed and is ready to use by the public. The pitch has a shock pad under the surface making it suitable for playing contact rugby, particularly training. The pitch is measures 73m by 46m and is also able to be booked in 3rd size pitches measuring 46m by 23m. Temporary toilets are available until the new park building is completed at the end of 2024.
