Gym Workout

The 120 station gym at Kensington Leisure Centre is ideal for gym beginners, returning gym users or seasoned gym goers. It offers a range of stylish new Technogym fitness equipment which will help individuals reach their health and fitness goals. The gym is air conditioned so you can workout in comfort with us everyday of the week.

Gym Induction

The gym floor is staffed by our qualified Fitness Instructors who are always happy to give advice and help support you along your fitness journey. You can chose between a 30 minute Basic Induction, in which you will be shown how all equipment works and given tips from our Fitness Instructor. The other option is a 1 hour Total Induction, where your health and fitness goals will be discussed and an individual programme written.

Refocus Sessions

These sessions are a chance to discuss and refresh where needed your fitness programme with one of our Fitness Instructors, these should take place every 6 weeks. This refocus can be tailored to your current fitness levels and help with added motivation to reach your goals.

Give it a Go Programme

Whatever your fitness goals, the Give It a Go Programme can help provide extra support to keep individuals motivated and achieve their desired outcomes.

It starts with a 40 minute induction to the gym and a chance to discuss your aims, from which a tailored fitness programme will be devised.

The programme lasts for 6 weeks, when a Give It a Go assessment can be booked to check on progress and provide an opportunity for questions and to update your training plan.

Personal Training

Our highly qualified personal trainers are available to provide bespoke one on one training to help you achieve your fitness goals. They can provide expert advice on nutrition and lifestyle improvements which can help you reach these goals faster. Personal Training must be booked in advance directly with the trainer. Junior Gym

Junior Gym is a dedicated time in which the gym can be used by children aged 11-17, with daily after school sessions during the week and allotted  times at the weekend.

Juniors are required to complete an induction before they are able to take part in Junior Gym sessions.
