This month Greenwich Leisure Limited turns 30 years old! Why not come down to the Centre and celebrate with us here at Wimbledon Leisure Centre And Spa and relive those 90’s vibes.
It was in the summer of 1993 that GLL was first established in South East London and has expanded ever since operating over 250 sites around the UK to date.
To celebrate this bench mark Birthday on Tuesday 25th July Wimbledon Leisure Centre And Spa will be re-living those fond old skool memories with a day of 90's music being played in the Gym. Get ready for some classic 90’s Pop, RnB, Brit Pop and so much more to work out to. We’ll be hosting 90's themed exercise classes to bring back all that energetic nostalgia that made the 90’s so iconic.
We’ll be offering free swimming for kids between 9am-10am so bring the kids down for a Swim.
Members are more than welcome to dress up in their favourite 90’s get up. Whether that’s from a classic 90’s football shirt to a MR. Motivator fancy dress outfit all is welcome.
We’ll be providing fresh fruits, juices, smoothies as well as some naughty birthday treats that shouldn’t usual cross the threshold of a health centre to celebrate. Well its only one day…
With our new LED lighting in the Gym this will be a place to celebrate and have a good work out with a few rewards at the end of it.
The energy will be flowing in our brand new Group Cycle studio banging out some adrenaline pumping 90’s bangers getting those heart rates up and 90’s vibes out.
So whether you’re here to exercise in a Fitness Class, enjoy a high intensity work out in the Gym, have a luxurious treatment in our relaxing Spa Experience, lane swim or just have a cheeky splash in our 30 meter Pool all are welcome to pop down to Wimbledon Leisure Centre And Spa and celebrate with us.
