In a blockbuster showdown set to captivate the world of boxing, undefeated middleweight sensation Hamzah Sheeraz is gearing up to take on another formidable British boxer and former world title contender, Liam Williams at Copper Box Arena on Saturday 2nd December. 

Intercontinental titles with an astonishing five-showreel stoppage victories.

Promoter Frank Warren said: “This has got all the makings of a middleweight classic. We know all about Liam from working with him for a large part of his career and he always delivers the goods, entertainment wise, plus he is a ferocious competitor.

"This will be his toughest fight, no question about it. Liam has operated at the top level and, should Hamzah overcome him, he will be ready to take the step up himself.”

Hamzah Sheeraz, boasting an impressive record of 18 wins and 4 knockouts, is not only the WBC Silver champion but is also riding high on the momentum of two remarkable quick victories over River Wilson-Bent and Dmytro Mytrofanov.

The 26-year-old is looking to defend his WBC belt for the third time and secure his second defence of the Commonwealth title he won against River Wilson-Bent. On the other side of the ring, Liam Williams, has a record of 24 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw, returned to the winner's circle with a victory over Nizar Trimech at York Hall in November.

The Welshman had previously experienced tough losses in 12-round decisions against the likes of middleweight world champions Demetrius Andrade and Chris Eubank Jr.
