MEET THE MANAGER: Naz

JOB TITLE: Assistant General Manager

How long have you been in the fitness industry? 18 years

What did you want to be when you were growing up? I always was a sporty person and spent all my childhood in sports. I studied Physical education at Uni and carried on my professional journey on that back home, and since I came to the UK

If you were on death row, what would be your last meal? I love food I can eat everything

What is your favourite movie of all time? Avatar

What is your dream holiday destination? I love warm place beside the sea, Maldives

What is your go to work out? I love the cardio and resistance machine mix to build up a few of my muscles and keep me healthy.

What would be your advice to anybody looking to join a gym?  Set your fitness goals: Before you join a gym, it's important to have a clear idea of what you want to achieve. Do you want to lose weight, build muscle, or improve your overall health and fitness? Knowing your goals will help you choose the right gym and develop an effective workout plan.

Research your options: Not all gyms are created equal, so take some time to research your options. Look for gyms that offer the equipment, classes, and amenities you need to achieve your goals. Read reviews, visit different gyms, and talk to other gym-goers to get a sense of the gym's atmosphere and community.

Consider your budget: Gym memberships can vary widely in price, so consider your budget when choosing a gym. Some gyms offer discounts for students or seniors, while others may offer lower rates for off-peak hours or longer commitment periods. Make sure you understand the membership fees, any hidden costs, and the cancellation policy before signing up.

Start slow: If you're new to working out or haven't been to a gym in a while, it's important to start slow and gradually increase the intensity and duration of your workouts. Many gyms offer fitness assessments and personal training services that can help you develop a safe and effective workout plan.

Be consistent: Consistency is key when it comes to achieving your fitness goals. Make a schedule and commit to going to the gym regularly. Find a workout buddy or join a fitness class to stay motivated and accountable.

Remember, joining a gym is just the first step towards achieving your fitness goals. To see real progress, you need to commit to a healthy diet, regular exercise, and a balanced lifestyle. For all the above, I believe Better gym Teddington is the best option for community in this area!
