Celebrating World Pickleball Day with free sessions at Horley Leisure Centre

Better Customers at Horley Leisure Centre can try one of the world’s fastest growing racket sports – pickleball – to celebrate World Pickleball Day (10 October).

The fast-paced and fun sport pits player teams across the net in a hybrid of tennis, badminton and table tennis, played on a badminton sized court.

Loved by celebrities from Leonardo DiCaprio to Bill Gates and Kim Kardashian, pickleball is America’s fastest growing sport and is growing in popularity in the UK where Better centres are now rolling it out.

Have a go at this easy-to-master, fun and sociable activity whatever your level of fitness.

We also have Pickleball coach Wendy who specialises in introducing pickleball to new players. Wendy will be around in the afternoon to deliver sessions to first timers. We will have the courts and paddles set up so anyone can just turn up and play.

The free drop in sessions will be running from 3pm-7.30pm on Tuesday 10th October.
