New Gym at Penrith LC

Opening on Monday 21st November, the new improved Penrith LC Gym was developed by Eden District Council in partnership with GLL.

It has state of the art equipment provided by Life Fitness and has been fully decorated including new floors, decor and LED lighting. You will notice the stunning new LED lights as you walk in through our new entrance which is located next to the café.

We currently have 69 stations with more to follow. This includes the most up to date technology that connects to your phone and smart watch. All the resistance machines have built in rep counters so you don’t lose count. The cardio machines have access to TV, Netflix, Spotify and a variety of apps and games.

We will be running gym 'quick' classes in the near future. This is not only a great way to keep fit but it will also show you how to use the new synergy equipment correctly while also meeting new people. There will be designated adult and junior sessions.

Our Fitness Instructors have been fully trained on how to use the equipment so if you are unsure please don’t hesitate to ask and we will be more than happy to assist you.

We are asking that everyone who uses the gym to put their belongings in a locker and not leave things on the floor in the gym. We also ask that when wiping down equipment after use that you spray on to the towel and not directly on to the machine.
