As we prepare for the transition, here's everything you need to know.

When will bookings be available?

Bookings are expected to open from 30 June 2026 via the Better website and app.

We're currently finalising the fitness class programme before making bookings available.

What are the opening arrangements?

To allow us to complete final preparations, the centre will operate a reduced timetable on 1 July 2026.

Swimming will be available during the morning and for a session between 1pm and 3pm. The centre will then close from 3pm ahead of reopening under Better on 2 July 2026.

Alternative Centre Access on 1 July

Customers affected by the closure can use the following Better centres on 1 July 2026:

• Henley Leisure Centre
• Prestwood Sports Centre
• Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex

Please speak to the reception team when you arrive, who will be able to assist with access.

What will be available on 2 July?

The outdoor pool is expected to be available from reopening.

Please note that on 2 July:

• The gym will not yet be available
• Fitness classes will not be running

We'll share further updates as additional activities become available.

What facilities will be available at the centre?

Wycombe Rye Lido & Gym will offer:

• A year-round heated outdoor swimming pool
• Gym facilities
• Fitness classes
• Sauna facilities
• Outdoor activity areas operated by Play Football

No. Fitness classes will not be running on reopening day. Further information will be shared once classes are available to book.

I'm an existing member. Do I need to do anything?

No action is required at this time. We'll contact existing members directly with information about memberships, Direct Debit payments and accessing Better's booking system.

Will my Direct Debit continue as normal?

Members will receive direct communication regarding their membership and Direct Debit arrangements.

The final Fusion Direct Debit collection will take place on 1 July 2026, with the first Better Direct Debit collection scheduled for 15 July 2026.

The centre will offer:

Is the accessible lift currently available?

No. The accessible lift is currently out of service. We are reviewing this as a priority and will provide further updates when available.
