With Easter just around the corner, it's time to get the kids sorted for the holidays. Let them burn off some energy, make new friends and have some fun in our pools – and all in the safe hands of our friendly, highly qualified Lifeguard staff.
Over 700 people drown in the UK and Ireland every year - equivalent to one person drowning every 20 hours, with hundreds more suffering from life-changing injuries due to near drowning. Latest statistics show that more people die from drowning in the UK than from road cycling accidents.
We believe, whether it's at the swimming pool, beaches, rivers or lakes, it's important that you and your family are aware of how to have fun yet ensure you keep yourselves safe in and around water. That is why we are giving families this Easter to visit your local Better leisure centre to have a splash and be safe in the water.
Our popular family orientated "Swim For All" sessions, Better Swim School Short Courses and 1-2-1 swimming lessons are all available throughout the Easter holiday and bookable on our Better UK app or website.
