If you're aged 60 or over and looking to get more active, our Better Health Senior membership allows you to access the gym, swimming pool, health sutie and fitness classes at Arcadia Library and Leisure Centre, all at a competitve price.

We believe that staying socially active is just as important as staying physically active - at any age. That's why we run regular senior swim sessions and aqua aerobics classes, offering you the opportunity to meet new people and grow friendships near you. 

If that wasn't enough, Better is a not for profit organisation, all proceeds from your membership fees are reinvested right back into your local community, enabling us to make fitness more accessible to everyone.

FREE SWIMMING FOR 60+ MANCHESTER RESIDENTS

Did you know Manchester residents aged 60+ are eligible for our free swimming scheme? That's right! Registering for the MCRactive card enables you to swim for free in swim for fitness, swim for all, swim for women and swim for senior sessions at Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre.

FITNESS CLASSES

We offer a range of low-impact and low-intensity fitness classes suitable for seniors and beginners. Classes include Yoga Basics, Pilates Basics, Legs Bums and Tums Basics and many others.
