Football Pitches

We have just invested £250,000 into brand new 3G football pitches at Whalley Range Sports Centre. We now have eight floodlit 3G, state of the art 5-a-side pitches and one 7-a-side pitch. An array of activities can be undertaken on the surfaces from league play, to tournament play, to casual hire. Parties and corporate hire are also catered for with our clubhouse bar and function space. The venue has free parking and is only a short drive from the centre of Manchester.

Gym

Whalley Range Sports Centre has had a superb £160,000 refurbishment to the gym, studio and ancillary facilities.

Our fully equipped, air-conditioned gym offers a range of fitness equipment for everyone. Our members can choose from a great range of cardiovascular machines including treadmills and rowers, resistance equipment plus a large free weights section and dedicated stretching area.

For a fitness programme tailored to your needs, just ask a fitness instructor and they'll be happy to put together a workout to suit you.

Before using the gym you'll need to complete an induction, so our fitness instructors can check you are well enough to train. As well this gives you the opportunity to get advice about other activities the centre may offer which could help you achieve your fitness goals.

Women's Only Gym

We now have brand new dedicated women’s only gym sessions each week! Kick start your fitness regime in our gym where you can hit the cardio kit and resistance machines in comfort. Our women's only gym sessions allow you to exercise in a welcoming environment.
