What Better gyms offer student discounts?

Our Student Membership is accepted at most* Better gyms, pools and leisure centres.

*Our UK-Wide Student membership does not include access to Camden leisure centres and Charlton Lido and is only valid if purchased at these centres.

What counts as student ID?

As proof of eligibility for our student memberships, we accept letters from college/uni, college/uni/ sixth form ID cards, student profiles and acceptance letters. Upload any of these documents and you could be eligible for a discounted student membership.

These have to include your full name and the current academic year to be accepted.

How do I apply for a student membership?

You can apply for a Student membership online. Enter your postcode, pick your centre and choose the ‘Student’ option. Once you've added your details and joined, you’ll need to upload evidence of your eligibility online.

Is it easy to cancel a student membership?

Since our student gym and leisure memberships are no long-term contract, it’s easy to cancel. You can cancel online or via the Better UK app. Check out our Help Centre for more information.
