Herts Young Mariners Base at Cheshunt Lake on Windmill Lane gives you outdoor adventure and watersports right on your doorstep. We offer open water swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding and bell boating on the lake, with qualified instructors to help you build confidence and skills on the water. Beyond the water there's climbing, archery, fencing, bushcraft and orienteering across our outdoor site. We run programmes for schools and youth groups focused on teamwork and personal development, plus open sessions where families can try activities together. You'll also find yoga classes and team-building challenges that work for different ages and abilities. If you want to extend your visit, camping is available on site. We're a short walk from Cheshunt Station on the London Overground, making it easy to reach from across the area.
