Free Sessions at St Austell Leisure Centre Open day.

Join us on Saturday, March 2nd, for an exhilarating Open Day, brimming with an array of engaging activities! From invigorating Group Exercise classes to complimentary Badminton sessions and introductory Swim lessons, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

From 9:30am-3:00 pm, members, along with their families and friends, are cordially invited to partake in the festivities, absolutely free of charge. Non-members are also welcome to join in the fun by simply registering for a free membership in advance at https://bookings.better.org.uk/register. This membership grants access to booking any of the complimentary sessions and ensures seamless entry into the center on the day of the event. Remember, booking in advance is essential, with sessions available for reservation up to six days prior to the Open Day.

Explore our diverse range of classes and facilities designed to support your fitness aspirations in 2024! Here's a glimpse of the complimentary activities available for booking over the weekend:

  • 9:30am-9:40am: Kickstart your day with a Functional class - Reserve your spot via the Better UK app.
  • 9:30am–12:00pm: Dive into free Badminton slots.
  • Experience trial sessions for Judo and our Swim School.
  • Enjoy free Pre-School Swimming lessons from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (30-minute sessions).
  • Delve into Foundation swimming lessons from 1:00pm to 3:00pm (30-minute sessions).
  • Embark on a Rookie Swim Lesson from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
  • Explore the artistry of Synchronized Swimming from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
  • Dive into Water Polo & Sharks Trials from 2:00pm to 3:00pm - Book your spot at the reception.

For your convenience, changing rooms equipped with showers and lockers are available. Simply bring along a pound coin for locker usage or a trolley token. Don't worry if you forget – tokens can be purchased at the reception on the day of the event.

Please note that access to our swimming pool is not included in the free Open Day and must be booked in advance.
