White Water Rafting

This is ideal for anyone looking for an extreme white water fun and adventure! Splash down from the big drops, surf the curling waves and then catch your breath at the bottom before you do it all again. This is an out ‘n’ out adrenalin fuelled ride, not for the faint hearted.

Midweek Mayhem - just £50 to get teens off screens and into adventure!

Struggling to find something this summer that actually excites your teen and doesn’t break the bank? Our early bird White Water Rafting sessions are the perfect answer. For just £50 per person, your teens can ditch the devices and dive into a real life thrill ride - battling rapids just like their on screen heroes.

Sessions run Wednesday to Friday mornings from 10:30 - 12:30, but be quick - spaces are limited and this offer won’t last all summer!

Essential information

  • Each raft takes up to a maximum of nine participants. We'll always try our best to keep individuals together but this can’t be guaranteed unless you book a whole raft

  • Check in for your activity at reception promptly! The time will be shown on your booking confirmation. There’s no need to arrive before this time, however please do not be late as late arrivals may not be able to take part in the activity and will not be refunded

  • We may need to reschedule bookings that do not meet our minimum requirement of participants – you’ll be contacted in advance if your booking is affected

Age and weight restrictions

  • All participants must be aged 12+ and individually weigh under 18 stone
  • All participants must complete our watersports waiver, you'll receive by email with your booking confirmation
  • Participants aged 12-17 must have a responsible adult 18+ who remains on site at Lee Valley White Water Centre for the duration of their activity with one responsible adult to every four children (max)

Family Rafting

Experience length: 90 minutes, allow 120 minutes for your session
Age: 8+ years

Turbo boost your family time as you and your loved ones take on the rapids of our Legacy Loop. Share the laughs as you’re challenged and guided down the course.

The experience will last for 90 minutes this includes a safety brief and kit distribution with up to one hour on the water including an activity assessment. Once you’ve been fully kitted out with wetsuits and wetboots, you’ll be introduced to your raft guide who’ll help you navigate your way down the Legacy Loop.

First things first, they’ll talk you through the basic skills and safety elements of rafting whilst on the lake then move on to completing our activity assessment. You’ll then be ready to hit the rapids! Paddles up!
