Finchley Lido Leisure Centre boasts 3 pools to be used by our members! With a range of sessions running from lessons to fitness swimming; there's something for everyone at Finchley!
Finchley Lido boasts a 25m indoor pool with 6 lanes divided with anti-wave lane ropes.
The main pool is easily accessible by step entry in the corners of the pool and we have a hoist that can be used upon request.
Enjoy your swim with great natural light from the windows above.
The Leisure Pool features a Wave machine, air jets, Water cannons and Rapids. The pool is available for Birthday or Party bookings, please email us at Finchley-Lido@gll.org for more information.
Finchley's very own Lido is open throughout the summer months and is 25m in length. The Lido will re-open from 17th May 2025.
The planned opening hours are as follows:
Term time
- Saturdays 12pm-5pm
- Sundays 12pm-3.30pm
During school term time the outdoor pool will only be opened weekends -weather dependant 22 degrees and above. However, during the May half term, the lido will be open on the below dates and times - weather dependant.
Monday 26th - 30th May 2025 from 12pm-6.30pm
Summer holiday opening hours
The lido will be open daily - weather dependant from 10am-6.30pm
Come down and enjoy our green space where you can sunbath and enjoy some light refreshments of cold drinks, ice cream and snacks from our snack hut run by Angel Cafe.
When booking the outdoor pool please visit our Better UK app and book Swim for All (Please note that your booking under Swim for All is for both outdoor and leisure pool use)
Swim for Fitness sessions (Adults only)
We will be re-introducing our Swim for Fitness sessions daily in the outdoor pool from the below dates:
- Monday 2nd June - Friday 18th July 1pm-2.30pm
- Monday 21st July - Friday 5th September 9am-10am
Simply head over to the Better UK app or go online and search for Swimming > Swim for Fitness > Choose your preferred day and look out for Swim for Fitness sessions located in the outdoor pool.
