This International Women's Day we've got a packed programme of women‑only activities. Taking place on Sunday 8th and Monday 9th March, the schedule offers opportunities for women of all ages and abilities to try something new and build strength.

At West Reservoir Centre, two women’s kayaking drop‑in sessions (2.30pm–3.30pm and 3.30pm–4.30pm) provide the perfect opportunity to get out on the water. These popular sessions offer a friendly introduction to paddlesport, and booking your space is as simple as emailing west.reservoir@gll.org

Strength training is in the spotlight across the borough, with Clissold and Britannia running increased capacity classes to meet demand, giving more women the chance to explore resistance training.

The celebrations continue on Monday 9th March at Queensbridge, where a unique Women’s Arm Wrestling Masterclass (6.30pm–7.30pm) invites participants to turn up and have a try at something completely new!
