At whatever level you wish to take part, sport and physical activity is certainly an enjoyable lifestyle choice. Being active is a great way to improve your health, clear your mind and put you into a better mood. Taking part in a sport or physical activity session is also a great way to build your confidence and meet likeminded people.

Swimming for disabled adults

Swimming is an ideal activity for cardiovascular activity, and also helps to improve your strength. The sessions are well attended, fun and lead by a fully qualified instructor.

Kensington Leisure Centre is fully equipped with the latest poolside hoist. The Poolpod lifts give you independent, comfortable access to the pool, getting you swimming quickly and easily.





Badminton for disabled adults

The Badminton sessions are led by a fully qualified instructor, with all equipment provided (rackets and shuttles). There is also an option to play Table Tennis at these sessions too!

Multi sports for disabled adults

Multi Sports provides you with the opportunity to try a variety of sports, including Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis, Kurling, Boccia, Bowling and many more!

Rebound Therapy

Rebound Therapy involves using Trampolines to provide opportunities for enhanced movement patterns and therapeutic positioning and exercise.

Disability Sports Coach Multi Sport Session

DSC Community Clubs are fun, accessible clubs that provide multi-sport activities for disabled people aged 11 and over.

Yoga for disabled adults

The Yoga sessions involve fun and engaging exercises involving breathing and meditation; widely practised for health and relaxation.

Inclusive Gym Session

Join our Fitness Instructor Ursula, who's a graduate from the Instructability scheme, every Monday for our new gym session. Raise your heart rate with cardio, or build your strength and stamina in strength training. All available with the added benefit of a personalised fitness induction and exercise programme.

Gym club for disabled adults

At Gym Club each participant has an individual workout plan written by the instructor. This session provides all participants with the opportunity to be active within a Gym environment under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
