Our next Marvel re-cap - Lyn

Lyn is a huge inspiration to us all. This is a story of a remarkable journey that other people would have given up on.

What may seem quite normal as an adult learning to swim, she has done this after beating cancer and surving a stroke. Many people would have given up, not Lyn! she was determined to learn how to swim.

She went from clinging onto the side and not wanting to let go, to learning to swim with the help of the swimming teachers and Maindy during our adult swimming lessons.

She learnt how to do all 4 strokes and during our first distance week, completed 200 meters which is an amazing acheivement

We are so proud of Lyn for overcomming everything she has and to absolutey smashing learning to swim. She continues to go from strength to strength and she is definately deserving of being a Maindy Marvel
