Eastern Leisure Centre in Llanrumney brings together a large gym with functional training zone, a 25-metre pool and plenty of space for sport and fitness. The gym has everything for cardio and strength work, while the functional zone gives you room for strength work, plyometrics and circuits. Swim laps in the pool or join aqua aerobics sessions. There are indoor courts for badminton and basketball, plus outdoor football on the 3G pitch and squash courts. Classes include group cycle, circuits, body conditioning, yoga, Pilates, boxfit and dance fitness, with an Advanced Circuit Challenge for those after something tougher. We run junior fitness sessions, Aqua Splash for kids and gymnastics programmes. The sports hall and studios stay busy with community groups and schools using the space regularly.
