1.0 Administration
1.1 Terms and conditions are signed upon booking.
1.2 All party cancellations need to be made in writing to the centre’s inbox.
1.3 Parties cancelled with a minimum of 28 days’ notice will be entitled to a full refund.
1.4 Initial payment for the party is paid online or in centre, all additional payments can be made at a later date specified by the centre.
1.5 The birthday party administrator will require a minimum of 28 days’ notice for any changes to your booking. We regret that we will
not be able to accommodate any changes made after this period.
1.6 If you wish to add any guests onto your booking, a minimum of 7 days’ notice is required. Payment for these extra guests will need
to be made prior to the party, additional guest can be added up to 7 days before the party, we regret that we may not be able to
cater for additional guest after this time.
2.0 General Party Rules
2.1 All customers should adhere to the leisure centre rules, which are displayed throughout the premises.
2.2 Please enter the building 15 minutes before your party starts.
2.3 A birthday party host will be provided along with relevant instructors, dependent on the type of birthday party.
2.4 The party activity will last 1 hour, and 45 minutes for food in a party room / location after the activity has finished prompt exit will
be required to allow full sanitisation of the party room for the next party (This is only applicable to centres that offer food as part
of their party package – please refer to the centres webpage to find all party information)
2.5 The party activity will last for the specified time outlined on your booking.
2.6 Please ensure all attendees are aware of the times of booking, we regret that we will be unable to alter times or provide extensions
to your booking on the day.
2.7 Please inform the birthday party administrator of any changes in the numbers of guest, if numbers go over ratios or capacity,
another birthday party host will need to be provided. This will incur additional charges. The centre needs to be informed at least 7
days in advance if any changes need to be made. (On occasions, some centres have a maximum number for a party type, in this
case the centre wouldn’t be able to add any additional children. Please check with your local centre)
2.8 Failure to provide food options for your party will result in a generic vegetarian food option for all attendees. Food must be
confirmed 7 days before a party. (This is only applicable to centres that offer food as part of their party package – please refer
to the centres webpage to find all party information)
2.9 If additional guests are added to your party, payment needs to be made before the date of the party. Payments are non-refundable.
2.10 The hirer will need to ensure that they have the contact details of all of the parents/guardians of the children in attendance for use
in the event of an emergency.
2.11 GLL cannot accept liability for the loss, damage, or theft of any items. Please take care not to leave belongings behind or
unattended, and please do not bring valuables to the centre.
2.12 Use of cameras and video equipment specifically within the party area and used by parents/guardians of children attending the party
is permitted with the permission of the Duty Manager on duty.
2.13 Only food purchased in centre will be permitted to be eaten at a birthday party except from a birthday cake unless specified otherwise.
2.14 Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed within Children’s birthday parties.
3.0 Pool Party and Aquasplash Rules
3.1 All customers must wear appropriate and clean swimming attire. All swimmers must abide by the general pool rules.
3.2 All GLL swimming pools are staffed with Lifeguards. However, it is a condition of booking that the following Swim Safely Admission
Rules are adhered to:
•
Under 8’s and non swimmers under 16 must be accompanied by a competent adult swimmer (over 16 years old and able to swim at least 25 metres)
•
No more than two under 8’s or non swimmers under 16 to each competent adult swimmer. Over 8’s not accompanied by adult will
have to swim 25 metres , to the lifeguards standard before entering the pool
•
The competent adult swimmer must actively supervise under 8’s and non swimmers under 16
•
Under 8’s and all non swimmers must remain in shallow water
•
It is strongly recommended that under 8’s and all non swimmers wear armbands and / or another appropriate type of buoyancy aid
•
Maximum number of participants including parents in the pool cannot exceed maximum pool capacity
(Please note that the party will not go ahead if you do not adhere to the Swim Safely rules)
4.0Bouncy Castle Rules
4.1 Bouncy Castle ages may vary at each location, please check at the centre you are booking at for age limits.
4.2 All attendees are required to wear socks while in the activity area.
4.4 No drink or foods are permitted to be consumed on the bouncy castle.
4.5 Children & adults should not wear jewellery while in the activity area.
