School's Out
The School holidays have started and St Austell Leisure Centre is the ideal destination to keep the whole family entertained during the school holidays. The following activities have been added to keep everyone active and entertained:

Swim For All
Everyone loves being in the pool and that's why we have swimming sessions available for all during the holidays. With additional morning and afternoon sessions added throughout the week, find a time that will fit around your plans and enjoy swimming together with your friends and family.
We are also running our Kids for a quid promotion on bookings before 10.00am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. Early booking advised for this great offer.

For the younger members of the family we have a monster themed soft play which is jam-packed with fun things to do and explore.
From the glow room, monster bash, ball pits and slides - this is a great way for your children to make friends and burn off some energy, whatever the Cornish weather decides to throw at us!
The Soft play is split into a toddler section for under fours and bigger section for children up to 12 years of age.

Junior Gym
Additional morning sessions have been added to the junior gym programme. These are perfect for children aged 11 and over looking to looking to stay fit and healthy throughout the summer.
Suitable for new and existing members with an instructor available at all times.
An induction must be completed before use you start - so come along, bring yoru friends, and keep fit and healthy this summer.

Who doesn't love a bit of family/friendly comption on the badminton court?
Book a court and remind yourself how much fun you can have with this timeless sport. Perfect for most ages and all abilities and a great way to get the smiles flowing.

When you have had all this fun working up an appetite for you, our onsite café has you covered.
Serving up light refreshments and a large selection of hot and cold drinks, we are here to replenish your enery levels after a session of fun.
Overlooking the pool, this is also the perfect place to spectate the pool activities whilst enjoying a hot drink.
We try to cater for most dietry requirements so please let a member of the catering team know when you are placing your order if you can't see anything suitable for you.

Fun - Our Holiday Clubs are a great place for your kids to have fun, make new friends and try new activities during the holidays.
Value for money – £32 per day , your child is guaranteed to have 6 hours of supervised fun! Drop off from 8.30am and pick up from 2.30pm.
Local - Your Holiday Club is right on your doorstep.
Safe: Our Holiday Clubs are Ofsted registered, and our friendly staff are all DBS checked to ensure a high quality, stimulating and safe environment for your children to enjoy the holidays. Ratios are 1:8 for under 8's and 1:10 for over 8's. Holiday activities are suitable for children in school years 1 to 7.
What you can expect:
At Better St Austell Leisure Centre, we like to give children the opportunity to take part in a variety of different activities throughout the school holidays to ensure they really enjoy their time off!
Our St Austell Better Holiday Club typically involves the following activities:
• Swimming (for children over 8 who can swim 25 metres in a recognised stroke)
• Fun games and sports including kwik cricket, soft tennis, dodgeball, badminton and football.
• Opportunity to have some fun in the soft play (under 8's only).
Children attending need to bring a packed lunch and plenty of drinks. They require sports clothing and if a competent swimmer and aged over 8 they will require their swimming kit. We do have a Cafe at the centre if they wish to purchase any additional snacks and drinks.
Our holiday activity spaces are limited and fill up very quickly. Remember to book early to avoid disappointment!

Age restrictions apply to our holiday activity program – please ask a member of staff for more details.
Children are required to bring their own packed lunch and plenty of water to keep them going throughout the day.
You must complete a registration form for each child and inform staff of any changes to the information that has been provided by you.
On arrival each day, you will be required to complete the day registers for your child.
Only the person identified on the day register may collect that child.
All children must abide by the Better leisure centre and holiday club rules.
You must give 48 hours notice if cancelling a booking.
