As host venue to the London 2012 Wheelchair Tennis event, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre is committed to supporting the development of all players, regardless of age, ability or disability. We continue to offer a fully inclusive tennis programme with a wide variety of programmes for people with different impairments. This includes weekly sessions for participants with learning disabilities, wheelchair users and for people with mental health conditions, all of which are supported by the LTA’s Disability Tennis Programme.
The venue also hosts a number of regional and national competitions for people with a disability, including the annual National Wheelchair Tennis Series event which provides an opportunity for recreational wheelchair tennis players to compete against other players from across the country.
