Lee Valley VeloPark
Young cyclists can build skills, confidence and speed at Lee Valley VeloPark this May half term. From the famous velodrome to the BMX track and mountain bike trails, it’s the perfect place to try something different.

Track Attack!
Who: Suitable for ages 12 - 16 years old.
What: Whether your child is new to track cycling or ready to take on the banking, Track Attack is a great chance to learn new skills and follow in the footsteps of Olympic heroes.
When: Wednesday 27 May - 12:00 to 14:00

BMX Thrills and MTB Skills 7-11
Who: Ideal for ages 7 - 11 years old.
What: Beat the school holiday boredom with a cycling session full of energy. Riders will improve their skills, learn new techniques and build confidence on the BMX track and mountain bike trails.
When: Thursday 28 May - 11:00 to 15:00
Price: £29 per person, glove hire £4.15

Young athletes can run, jump and throw their way through May half term at Lee Valley Athletics Centre , 61 Meridian Way, London N9 0AR.
Star Track
Who: Six to 12 years
What: Star Track gives budding athletes the chance to enjoy expert coaching across a range of athletics disciplines, from hurdles and high jump to sprints and javelin. The final day ends with a Star Track competition, giving children the chance to put their new skills to the test.

Holiday Ice
Who: Suitable for ages 3+
What: Holiday Skate is a fun festive skating session for all ages, perfect for getting active and enjoying time on the ice. Sessions last 1 hour, including arrival and exit time, with Polar Bear aids available to hire subject to availability.
Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult, and under 8s must be supervised on the ice by someone aged 16+.

Lee Valley Riding Centre
Young riders and pony lovers can enjoy hands on sessions, with activities for complete beginners and children who want to learn more about caring for horses at Lee Valley Riding Centre, Lea Bridge Rd, London E10 7QL
Own a pony sessions
Who: Five+
What: Get a taster of what it’s like to own a pony. Children will muck out, groom, tack up, ride and learn more about the care horses need. Spaces are limited.

Meet the minis
Who: Three+ years old
What: A gentle introduction to ponies for younger children. Meet and groom the American miniature horses, with a member of staff on hand to answer questions.
