Junior Gym
Junior gym is a dedicated session for young people between 11 and 17 years old to them to help them begin or maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
Junior Membership also includes access to our Junior Fitness Classes and drop in sessions at allocated times.
All juniors are required to attend Junior Gym Induction before their first session.
Junior Gym Days & Times
Monday – Thursday: 7am-8am & 3:30pm-6:00pm
Friday - 7am-8am & 3:30pm-7:00pm
Saturday – Sunday 10:00am - 14:00pm
Junior Gym Inductions
All juniors are required to book and attend a junior gym induction before attending their first gym sessions. Junior’s inductions are conducted by our level 2 qualified Fitness Instructors in small groups of no more than five people and are 30 minutes long. During the inductions, our instructors will go over all health & safety information about the gym, explain the gym etiquette, demonstrate the equipment that juniors are allowed to use during these sessions and show how to use it safely
Junior Gym Inductions take place Monday to Wednesday 4:00 - 4:30pm & Saturday 1-1:30pm
Adult & Junior Sessions
Calling all gym members with Children! Would you like to bring along your child to train with you in the gym for free? Our ‘Adult and Junior Gym’ sessions allow any pre-paid adult to bring a child to the gym with them for free. The reservation must be made by the adult who books the ‘Adult and Junior Gym’ session with their membership. Juniors do not need to book the session but must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times.

Fitness classes
Junior fitness classes take place during the Junior Gym session and are tailored to junior participants. These fitness classes are led by our level 2 qualified Fitness instructors and take place during the afternoon junior gym times.
Thursday 16:00 - 16:45pm:
Junior Strength & Conditioning – Strength and conditioning your whole body in one of our junior strength & Conditioning classes. These classes are combination of strength and conditioning activities that include Circuit Training & Body Conditioning in one class.
Wednesday 17:00 - 17:45pm:
Junior cardio - High energy fitness class specifically juniors gaed 11-17years to improve cardiovascular health, increase energy levels and build stamina.
Junior Drop in activities
Junior drop in sports sessions take place in the sports hall. These sessions are included in the monthly membership or available on a pay as you go basis.
Drop in Football - Friday 16:45 - 17:40pm
Drop in Basketball - Saturday 11:05 - 11:55am
Junior Gym Rules
Juniors will have access to the majority of the gym equipment including:
- Cardio machines ( treadmills, cross-trainers, upright bikes, spin bikes, recumbent bikes, ARC Trainers & rowing machines)
- Resistance machines* ( chest press, chestfly, lateral ow, cables pulley machines, leg press, hip adductor, hip abductor, lat pull down, shoulder press, leg extension, hamstring curl & assisted chin-up)
- Functional Area* ( TRX ropes, kettle bells, bosu calls, skipping ropes, step, slam balls, battle rope, plyo boxes, small free weights)
Juniors are not able to access the free weights area.* Juniors are required to use the lightest weight plates when using the resistance machines, as well as under 10kg dumbbells in the functional area.
