Glass Mill Health Suite is now open

We are delighted to have reopened our new sauna and steam room at Glass Mill Leisure Centre. The sauna and steam room are now in the new location of the old family changing area next to the poolside changing rooms. The family changing rooms have been relocated to group changing rooms 3 & 4 to accommodate the new sauna and steam room.  This is part of ongoing improvements to the building since Better took over. We hope you find the new location of the sauna and steam room convenient and enjoy in this area post work.

To access the sauna and steam room users must book this separately, so if you are using the gym or the pool or a class and are looking to use the sauna and steam room please make sure you book this in addition to you other activity.

Pay as you go customers can book the sauna and steam via our Better UK app under “Book other activities” or through our website under book activity on the top right hand corner of the webpage. Or select the book now button at the bottom of the page.

The sauna & steam rooms are a perfect way to compliment your workout out, whether you’ve been for a swim, had a gym session or enjoyed one of our aerobics classes. Sauna and steam rooms can assist with increasing blood flow, weight loss, cleansing, relieving stress and helping to relax body and mind. The poolside facilities are open to all members and offer a shower and hydration station for use in the same area.

Please note these are bookable and can only be accessed when a customer or member is attending a booked Sauna Steam session. The Sauna and Steam cabins are limited to 8 people at any one time.

Users must be 16 or older to use this space. Please note sauna steam room rules apply when using this area.
