Our fitness classes create a motivating environment where we encourage participants to push themselves and stay committed to their fitness goals.

At Newham Leisure Centre we offer a range of fitness classes that cater to all ages and abilities ranging from cardio-based classes to mind and body classes. 

We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community, so come on down and join us in building lasting relationships as you work towards your fitness goals.  

Our Cardio Classes

HIIT

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) alternates short, intense bursts of activity with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise. Push yourself to the limits with our 30-minute classes and experience the benefits of efficient calorie burning, increased metabolism and reduced body fat.

Group Cycle

Group Cycle incorporates different routines and mainly targets lower-body strength along with cardio fitness. Our instructors will take you on an immersive experience combining endurance, strength and interval training set to their music of choice.

Aqua Aerobics

Why not try a workout that targets your full body, whilst being easy on the joints? This low-impact form of exercise promotes muscle toning and cardio fitness in a fun and friendly environment.

Boxfit

Boxfit offers a fun and effective way to improve fitness, strength, coordination, and mental well-being through combining elements of traditional boxing training with aerobic exercises. Led by our qualified trainers, this is not a session you want to miss!

Body Conditioning

If you are looking to improve your cardiovascular fitness and build strength at the same time, this is the class for you. This high intensity class will push you to the limits and help you reach your fitness goals in no time.

Looking for a workout that will strengthen your core and improve your posture? Look no further as our core conditioning class combines a variety of exercises that target the muscles that make up our core and can help alleviate lower back pain.

Circuit Training

We combine resistance training with body weight cardio exercises to provide a vigorous full body workout. Exercises are completed in a sequence with minimal rest, where you will move form one station to the next, keeping the workout varied.

Our strength sessions are designed to improve muscle strength and endurance leaving you looking sculpted and defined. We will coach you through a variety of strength based exercises that will vary from session to session and help to boost your metabolism.
