SEND Swimming Lessons
Our SEND swimming lessons are designed to make staying active easy and fun for young people who are registered as disabled.
Our swimming lessons for disabled adults and children range from personalised 1:1 sessions for those who require extra assistance to group classes designed for swimmers with more confidence. No matter your ability, we have the right class to help you or your loved ones build swimming skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Sensory Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s special day with a splash in our learner pool, now featuring a brand-new multi-sensory lighting system for an exciting and immersive experience!
Our parties are suitable for children and young people of all ages and take place every Saturday from 15:15 to 16:15. Floats and toys are provided for added fun.
Important Information
- Exclusive use of the learner pool is included.
- Maximum capacity: 30 people (including parents and supervisors).
- Swim Safety Rules apply: one competent adult swimmer may supervise up to two children under 8, or non-swimmers under 16, at any one time.
- The total cost for a Sensory Birthday Party in the learner pool is £135. Payment must be made online in advance.

Kings Hedges Learner Pool features a state-of-the-art multi-sensory equipment and lighting system, thoughtfully designed to create a calm, soothing environment. It offers children with complex disabilities a gentle and enjoyable swimming experience, where they can relax, explore, and feel at ease in the water.
