At Lee Valley Riding Centre, we’re always looking for ways to make your riding experience simpler and more enjoyable. To help riders better understand their progress, we’re updating the names of our private and group lessons.

This is just a name change – nothing about the lessons themselves is changing. You’ll still receive the same great coaching, horses, and lesson experience you know and love.

What’s changing?

We’re moving to a clear, easy-to-follow level system:

  • New rider Intro → Flat Level 1
  • New rider → Flat Level 2
  • Beginner → Flat Level 3
  • Novice → Flat Level 4
  • Novice / Intermediate → Flat Level 5
  • Intermediate → Flat Level 6
  • Advanced → Flat Level 7
  • Riding Beginner Jump → Jump Level 1
  • Riding Beginner/Novice Jump → Jump Level 2
  • Riding Novice Jump → Jump Level 3
  • Riding Novice/Intermediate Jump → Jump Level 4
  • Riding Intermediate Jump → Jump Level 5

Why are we making this change?

  • To make it easier to see how riders progress
  • To simplify booking and lesson selection
  • To keep lesson names clear and consistent across Lee Valley Riding Centre

Whether you’re brand new to riding or continuing to build confidence and skills, this update makes it easier to understand where you are and what comes next on your riding journey.
