Changing Room Improvements at Oasis Sports Centre
We’re pleased to share the improvements to the male swimming pool changing rooms have now been completed and are back open for you to enjoy.
From next week, the male changing rooms will be transformed with upgrades designed to better support families, children and all our customers.
What’s changed in the male changing rooms?
We've refreshed the look and feel as well as expanded the changing room layout and enhanced your shower areas with increased privacy. The toilets have also been relocated to a more convenient and accessible location.
We've also created additional new changing cubicles for family changing as well as upgrading the lockers for added comfort and security. We've also changed the lockers to be secured by padlock rather that a 30p charge for each use. Padlocks can be purchased at reception or feel free to bring your own.
Female changing room upgrades
We are now going to deliver similar improvements to the shower areas, lockers, cubicles, vanity areas and toilets in the female changing rooms. We are pleased to announce that the work starts on Monday 1st June.
Temporary disruptions from 1st June
From Monday 1st June, the dividing wall in female changing rooms will remain in place to allow us to start work on the first half of the changing facilities. We hope that this phase of the upgrades will be completed by mid-August.
Once these have been completed, we will switch female access to the newly upgraded area of the changing rooms and move onto upgrading the other side. We do advise where possible to arrive swim ready for easy access. However, we’ve put alternative options in place to minimise disruption to your swim.
- To allow all customers to change, we will temporarily convert the male dry-side changing room to female access only allowing females access to the showers.
- Outdoor changing cubicles and unisex showers will be available next to the sauna
If you have any questions, our friendly in centre will be able to assist you.
Thank you for bearing with us whilst we made these improvements. We’ll keep this page updated with the latest news and progress, so please check back regularly for updates.
