Book Lending

Whatever your age or interest we have a wide range of books that you can borrow for free. You may borrow up to 30 books for up to three weeks. Large print and talking books are also available. Click on the link below to search our catalogue.



Enjoy free internet access to help you with your studies or research, for checking your email or simply for surfing the web. You can also use our computers for writing letters, preparing a CV or having a look at your holiday photos. Book online or contact the team if you would like to reserve a computer in advance of your visit. Please note our computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before library closing time.

Print, Copy, Scan

Our PaperCut system allows you to securely manage your printing, scanning and photocopying using the library's public computers and multi-function device (MFD). PaperCut also allows you to print securely to the library MFD via WiFi or from home. If you do not want to set up a PaperCut account then staff release printing is available via our Quick Use computers. If you only wish to photocopy then copy cards can be purchased at the Enquiry Desk. Please see our Fees tab for details of charges.


Free WiFi

Enjoy free unlimited Wi-Fi, to help with your studies, download an ebook or even stream your favourite TV show. Access is through The Cloud, a public access hotspot, sign up once and your device will auto connect when you walk through the door. 

DVD Hire

We have a wide selection of DVDs that can be hired for one week. Please see our Fees tab for details of charges


E-Books, E-Audio, E-Magazines/Newspapers and E-Music

Local and Family History

Alongside free online access to Ancestry and Find My Past, Long Sutton Library holds a small collection of local studies books relating to the history of the town. Historical newspapers on microfilm covering the area can be found at Spalding Library. Contact the team direct to find out more about our collection.

You can access a number of trusted information and reference resources free of charge from your local library, including titles such as Britannica Online (Junior, Student and Adult editions), titles in the acclaimed Oxford Companions series, Who’s Who and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
