Balham Library: temporary Children's Library from Wednesday 25th February
We are delighted to be refreshing and modernising the Children’s and Teen Libraries to create brighter, more welcoming spaces for families.
To support the works, a temporary Children’s Library will open downstairs from Wednesday 25 February, ensuring children can continue to enjoy books and activities throughout the refurbishment. This will however, mean reduced study and IT space during this period.
We appreciate your patience while we make these exciting improvements for the community, and the library team will be on hand to help you find what you need.

What we're loving

Not sure what to sign up for? Our librarians share what they're loving right now.

"If you're on the fence about joining a book group at your local library, let me be the friendly push you need! It's not just about the books; it's about the community and the shared love for stories. Trust me, you won't regret jumping in. See you at the next meeting!"
