Reading Groups Our monthly reading groups are a great way to share your thoughts on the book of the month. Reading Group, third and fourth Wednesday of each month 6.30-7.30pm. Audiobook Group, fourth Wednesday of the month 11am-12.30pm. Crime Reading Group, first Wednesday of the month 6.30-7.30pm.
Baby Rhyme Time Help your little ones learn, with songs and rhymes for children aged 0-2. Monday 10-10.30 and 2.30-3pm. Dad's Rhyme Time, Saturday 10.30-11am.
Story Time Inspire their imaginations early, with stories for children aged 2-5. Thursday 2.30-3pm.
Reading Support Monday, 4-5.30pm. Not every child finds reading enjoyable. Volunteer-led reading support is a one-to-one programme carried out at the library for KS1 Primary children aged 6-8 years. The aim is to help children progress and improve their reading ability, enjoyment, confidence and self-esteem. Knit and Knatter Knit and Knatter is a sociable activity for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, or cross stitching; a chance to share hints and tips, swap patterns and make new friends. Every second Wednesday 2-4pm.
English Conversation These informal English Conversation groups are for any adults who want to improve their spoken English in a friendly and supportive environment. Thursday 10am-12pm.
Messy Mornings Get creative! These craft or colouring sessions are for children aged 1-4 and their parents/carers. Wednesday 10.30-11.30am.
Reading Support, Homework Support and Coding and Putney Children’s Library Studyspace and Makerspace Lean and grow with students from Ibstock Place School on Monday from 3:30-5.30pm. Spanish Class An informal class for anyone who wants to improve their Spanish language skills. Thursday 4.15-5.15pm.
Spanish English Exchange A volunteer run session for speakers of English or Spanish, who want to improve their spoken skills in the other language. Monday 11.30am-1pm
