Gym Refurbishment
Exciting News: A Brand-New Gym Experience Is Coming!
We’re delighted to announce that Wycombe Rye Lido & Gym is undergoing an exciting refurbishment, bringing a fresh, modern look and an enhanced training experience for our customers.
From Monday 12th October 2026, work will begin to transform the gym, including the installation of brand-new gym equipment and new flooring throughout the entire gym floor and entrance corridor.
What to expect
During the week commencing Monday 12th October, some of our existing gym equipment will be removed to create space for the new flooring to be installed.
The gym will remain open throughout this phase, although customers will experience a temporary reduction in the equipment available while the refurbishment is underway. A diversion will also be in place during certain periods to enter the gym through Studio 1 and up the stairs in the spin studio, signs will be in place to help direct you. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create an even better environment for you to train in.
In the week commencing Monday 26th October some equipment is being moved around to facilitate further flooring works and may cause some disruption to users. Once again a diversion may be in place at certain points in the day to enter/exit the gym as above.
Final installation
To complete the transformation, the gym will be closed on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd November while the remaining existing equipment is removed and our exciting new equipment is installed.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 4th November 2026, when our newly refurbished gym will be ready for you to enjoy.
