Sheffield Steelkings clinch British Para Ice Hockey title at Lee Valley Ice Centre
The 2025 British Para Ice Hockey League season came to a dramatic close at Lee Valley Ice Centre on 13 - 14 September, as the country’s top four teams battled for medals in front of travelling fans from across the UK.
In the bronze medal match, Manchester Mayhem edged past Cardiff Huskies 3-2, securing third place after a tightly contested game.
The gold medal final saw a commanding performance from the Sheffield Steelkings, who defeated the Peterborough Phantoms 5-1 to claim the national title.
This was the second para ice hockey event hosted by Lee Valley Ice Centre in partnership with British Para Ice Hockey, following a Great Britain training camp earlier in the summer.
The weekend marked a fitting end to the 2025 season, with Sheffield cementing their position as the team to beat in British para ice hockey.
