Leave your scarves and mittens at home, as things are about to heat up on the ice, as the firefighters take on the police in a charity ice hockey match.

On Saturday 27 April, Lee Valley Ice Centre will welcome an exciting face off between UK Firefighters and Surrey Lions Police, all in the name of a great cause. This game won’t just be about scoring goals – it's about giving back to those brave individuals who risk their lives every day to keep us safe.

More than just an exciting face off; it's a chance to support two amazing charities: The Fire Fighters Charity and Care of Police Survivors where both teams are hitting the ice not just for fun, but to also raise money for these important causes.

When you come to watch the game, you'll have the opportunity to show your support by donating at the door. We suggest a minimum donation of £3, but any amount you can give – whether it's big or small – will make a real difference to these incredible charities. Your donations will be split equally between The Fire Fighters Charity and Care of Police Survivors, ensuring that our firefighters and police officers get the help and support they deserve.

You'll also be able to skate with the players after the match.

Save the date on your calendar, tell your friends, and be a part of something special at Lee Valley Ice Centre.
