Cycling Electric Demo Day Returns to Lee Valley VeloPark
Cycling Electric’s popular Demo Day series is set to return to Lee Valley VeloPark on Sunday 19 April, offering riders the chance to test a wide range of electric bikes and trikes on the our closed road circuit.
The event provides a traffic free environment on smooth tarmac, giving those considering an e-bike the opportunity to properly experience different models and speak directly with brand representatives about features and functionality.
New for 2026, adult cycle trainers will be on hand throughout the day to support anyone who feels unsure about riding an electric bike. Whether you’re new to pedal assist technology or simply want extra guidance before setting off, expert instruction will help build confidence on the track.
Speaking about the event, Cycling Electric Editor Mark Sutton said: “On the back of our expanded series in 2025, we’re looking forward to getting on the road again, introducing more people to the life changing experience a pedal assist bike can provide. Last year, we were blown away by how many parents came along to test cargo bikes, but understand that these first experiences on larger e-bikes can be daunting, so that’s why this year we are looking to introduce some trackside assistance to get you moving in confidence.”
With a broad selection of bikes available to try, riders can compare styles and performance back to back in a safe and supportive setting.
Our test track will be open from 10:00 to 16:00. Tickets are priced at £9, with discounted options available for pairs. Spectators and those wishing to speak to exhibitors without riding can attend free of charge.
