World Class Riders Set for 2026 Good Friday Track Meeting at Lee Valley VeloPark
The historic Good Friday Track Meeting returns to Lee Valley VeloPark on Friday 3 April 2026, promising a thrilling day of world class track cycling at the iconic venue built for the 2012 Summer Olympics.
One of the longest-running and most prestigious events in British track cycling, the meeting continues to attract top international talent alongside the UK’s best riders and rising club racers from 11:00 - 18:00.
Headlining the UCI Elite Men’s Endurance field is Conor White, the 2026 Pan American Scratch Race Champion, joined by Xavier Cañellas (Spanish National Team Pursuit and Points Race Champion 2025), William Bjergfelt (C5 Hour Record World Record holder), Mateo Duque and Agustin Ferrari (Pan American Madison Champions 2023), plus Will Roberts (National Team Pursuit Champion 2024) and Rhys Britton (World Championship Team Pursuit Silver Medalist 2024).
The UCI Elite Women’s Endurance race features five time US Elite National Champion Kimberly Zubris and Dannielle Watkinson, the 2025 National Derny Paced Champion.
In the UCI Elite Men’s Sprint, fans can expect explosive racing from Pete Mitchell (National Sprint Champion 2024), William Munday (National Keirin Bronze Medalist 2026), Oliver Pettifer (National Sprint Bronze Medalist 2026), Harry Radford (European Team Sprint Silver Medalist 2026) and Edward Lowe (Olympic Team Pursuit Silver Medalist 2024).
Dating back to 1903, the event has welcomed cycling legends including Bradley Wiggins and Alex Dowsett. Now a UCI classified event, the 2026 edition promises even higher level competition, with more than 100 riders battling it out across sprint and endurance races including the famous Golden Wheel Scratch Race.
