Picklemania League Launches at Lee Valley VeloPark with Four Brand New Courts
We officially launched our brand new Picklemania League yesterday, celebrating the installation of four dedicated pickleball courts with a fun filled community event.
Players enjoyed social match play, coached sessions and the chance to connect with fellow players. After working up an appetite, attendees refuelled with complimentary sandwiches and drinks, rounding off a fantastic afternoon of sport and socialising.
The celebrations also marked the launch of the new Picklemania League within the Picklemania App, making it easier than ever for players to find matches, track scores and climb the rankings. Raquetsphere were on site to help players get connected and ready to play, ensuring everyone could make the most of the platform.
There was also the opportunity to join one of the 40 minute coaching sessions led by professional player James Chaudry. Participants benefited from expert tips and insight from one of the game’s top players.
With four new courts now open, the launch signals an exciting new chapter for pickleball at Lee Valley VeloPark, underlining our commitment to the growth of the sport and offering more opportunities than ever for players of all abilities to get involved.
