Paddle into Easter

Paddle into action this Easter weekend (31 March and 1 April) with our kayak cross selection now open for entries! Lee Valley White Water Centre invites all paddlers to join us for three thrilling Kayak Cross competitions spread across two action packed days, hosted by Paddle UK.

Dive into the heart of the action at Lee Valley White Water Centre and immerse yourself in the thrilling world of Kayak Cross with the new discipline due to debut at the Paris 2024 Games.

Mark your calendars for 31 March to 1 April and prepare to push your limits! Take on time trials and face off against fellow competitors in up to three rounds per competition.

If you’ve successfully passed the Lee Valley White Water Centre Olympic assessment or can demonstrate similar experience elsewhere, there's a spot for you in this electrifying event.

Aspiring young paddlers under the age of 18 as of 1 January 2024, are encouraged to join the U18 Women and Men competition to showcase their talent and passion for the sport.

However, with entries filling up rapidly and limited spots available, aspiring participants are urged to secure their spot on the start list before the entry window closes on 14 March. 

For those in need of equipment, Lee Valley White Water Centre has Pyranha Kayaks available for hire. Please note, all participants are reminded to bring all other necessary items, including spray decks to be able to compete.
