Wet Changing Room Improvement Works Coming to Ironmonger Row Baths This Summer

We're pleased to announce that essential improvement works are planned for Ironmonger Row Bath's wet changing rooms this summer.
These works form part of the ongoing investment in the centre and are designed to improve the quality, comfort and overall customer experience within our wet-side changing areas.

What does this mean for customers?

To allow the works to be completed safely both the male and family changing rooms, including the pre-shower area, will be temporarily closed. The female changing rooms will temporarily become a mixed-changing village, providing private changing cubicles, group changing rooms, shower cubicles and the communal showers will act as a pre-shower area during this time.

Our Women's only swimming sessions including Adult Swimming lessons and Swim for Fitness will be temporarily paused from Monday 3rd August as we're unable to provide a dedicated female-only changing environment during this time. Please note: the women's only Aqua Aerobics sessions will temporarily operate as a mixed class.

All other in centre facilities will remain open, including the first floor dry-side lockers, showers and changing facilities and children's swimming lessons remain uneffected. During the refurbishment, where possible we're asking members to arrive swim-ready to help reduce demand on the changing facilities.

The refurbishment will provide customers with improved changing facilities, creating a cleaner, more modern and welcoming environment that reflects the quality of the wider centre.
