Newham Teams take part in Club Games Walking Sports
On Wednesday the 16th of September Newham residents aged 60 and above took part in the annual Club Games Walking sports competition. Newham had teams taking part in the Walking Football, Walking Netball and Pickleball competitions.
The walking sports competition forms part of thw wider Club Games in which odler adults from all London GLL partnerships come together to compete in a series of sporting competitions.
The day was a great success particularly as it was Newham's first time entering teams into both the Walking Football and Pickleball. Our Netballers also did a great job securing 3rd place for the second year in a row!
