Customer Notice | FIH Pro League | June 13 - 28
- More info »

The FIH Pro League is returning to Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre from 13 to 28 June, bringing world class international hockey action to the venue.

During this period and especially on event days, there will be some temporary changes to how customers access the venue due to enhanced event security and restricted access around the building.

What is the FIH Pro League?

The FIH Pro League is an international spectator hockey event featuring some of the world’s top teams. The event attracts up to 4,000 spectators per day and uses both the hockey stadium and internal spaces within the venue.

As the event is ticketed and subject to security restrictions, the site will be fenced and security personnel will be present throughout the event period.

Pre-book your session

Customers are reminded to pre-book all tennis sessions in advance before travelling to the venue.

We also recommend allowing extra time for arrival, particularly on event days, as additional security checks and bag searches will be in place on the following dates:

13, 14, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 June.

Plan Your Journey

Customers visiting the venue during the event are advised to plan their journey carefully.

Please note there will be no access to the venue via the Eton Manor pedestrian path from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park over the A12 during this time.

The only entrance to the venue will be via the Eastway (A106) car park entrance.

Additional security on arrival

During the event period, access to most areas of the building will be restricted.

Customers who have booked indoor tennis courts, or who require access to the changing rooms and toilets, will receive a wristband on arrival and will be subject to a bag search before entry.

The following areas will remain accessible to tennis customers:

  • Indoor tennis courts
  • Changing rooms 1 and 2
  • Tennis balcony and toilets, accessed via the rear staircase opposite Indoor Court 4

Please note that no other areas of the building will be accessible, including as a route to another area. For example, the tennis balcony cannot be accessed through the Clubhouse.

Car Parking

A limited number of car parking spaces will still be available for tennis customers throughout the event.

Customers will be required to park in designated areas and may be asked to show their booking confirmation upon arrival to verify access.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding while the venue hosts this major international sporting event.
