Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre was buzzing with excitement on the weekend as students from 12 university hockey teams came together to compete in the Lee Valley University Cup.

This was the 12th year of the competition, which was also the first event ever held at the venue back in 2014.

The matches were full of energy, skill, and close results. In the men’s tournament, University College London (UCL) came out on top, winning the Cup for the fourth time since 2014. In the women’s competition, the University of Surrey kept hold of their crown, defending the title they won last year.

It was a brilliant weekend of student sport, with great hockey on show from every team. Congratulations to UCL, Surrey and everyone who took part.
