Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre welcomed players to the third edition of its para standing tennis event in May.

A total of 15 players signed up, with 10 competitors taking part across the weekend. The event brought together familiar faces and new athletes, creating a friendly and competitive atmosphere on court.

One of the standout stories was Luca Reese, aged 12, who made a brilliant impression by winning the PS1/2 singles title. Luca then teamed up with Stefanie Reher to win the doubles title, completing an impressive sweep of the weekend.

Georgia Routledge and Andrew Higgins finished in second place in the doubles, after a strong performance throughout the event.

With good weather and plenty of support for the players, the event was a great celebration of para standing tennis. Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre is already looking forward to welcoming players back next year.
