Stadium Raft Guide Training
Are you looking to lead on artificial white water courses?
- Do you want to take groups of people from all walks of life white water rafting?
- Do you have experience of white water rafting on man made artificial sites?
- Are you looking to support your club or centre?
If so, the Stadium Raft Guide could be for you!
Course requirements:
- Minimum age 16 years
Course duration:
- 8 hours split over 2 days

Ready for your next step? Take your stadium rafting assessment with us!
Your assessor will guide you through the stages of arranging your assessment, discussing with you the best times and dates for the assessment, helping you ensure you have a group to lead and the appropriate assessment conditions on the day.
By the end of the assessment, you will have to demonstrate knowledge and skills in four areas:
- Personal Paddling Skills
- Rescue Skills
- Safety, Leadership and Group Skills
- Theory
The assessment takes place over a typical paddling day, depending on the logistics relating to access to suitable environments, you and your assessor may agree a longer assessment.
Course requirements:
- Minimum age 16 years
- Full National Association Membership
- Valid (within 3 years) British Canoeing Awarding Body recognised 1-day First Aid Award
- Valid (within 3 years) Safeguarding Training recognised by British Canoeing Awarding Body
- Recommended Stadium Raft Guide Training
Course duration:
- 1 Day Assesment

Paddlesports Instructor
Do you want to have fun? Do you like to spend time on the water with likeminded people? Do you want to introduce people from all walks of life to paddlesport by running fun, engaging taster and starter sessions?

- Full National Association Membership
- Valid (within 3 years) British Canoeing Awarding Body recognised 1-day First Aid Award
- Valid (within 3 years) Safeguarding Training recognised by British Canoeing Awarding Body
- Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Training (PSRC)
