*Structured Swimming lessons are free for all children regardless of swimming ability. Children will be allocated a suitable group dependant on swimming ability on the first day following an assessment. Swimwear will be required for all 5 days of the Holiday Club.

*The centre's holiday club is registered with Ofsted.

*All activities are subject to change due to ratio, and staff availability. Please make sure your child brings a water bottle.

This is an example of the timetable of activities as the children are also asked what they would like to do.

All activities will be supervised by staff members and swimming lesson will be given by qualified swimming teachers., as per our lesson framework.

HOLIDAY CLUB BOOKING REMINDERS

Booking:

A registration form needs to be completed for each child at the start of every school holiday to ensure the most up to date information, this will include dietary requirements for food.
Food must be supplied by parents. Note there are not cooking facilities on site, only microwaves if you aim to prepare a warm meal. Meals cannot be shared between children.
Children can only attend from the September after their 5^th Birthday, (i.e. they must currently be in Year 1 at school, not be just about to move into Year 1
Bookings should now be done in advance, and not on the day due to fact of ratios.

On the Day:

Any medication needs to be named and handed to the Holiday Club Lead for the day.
Children need to be signed in at the start of the day and include details of the adult collecting them.
Please contact the Holiday Club Lead if the adult collecting on the day is running late, a late fee may apply.

OTHER ACTIVITIES THIS HOLIDAY:

Junior Gym

Junior Gym sessions are designed for children aged 11-17 and allow them to workout at designated timeslots. To participate, pre-booking is required either online or through the app. A fitness instructor will be present during the session to provide supervision, guidance, and answer any questions.

Saturday to Sunday: 12.00pm-4.00pm

Adult and Junior Gym

Our Adult and Junior gym sessions at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre offer a great opportunity for families to stay active and spend quality time together. To encourage younger members to exercise, pre-paid adult members can bring a junior aged 11 to 17 with them at no extra cost during these sessions. Adults are responsible for continuously supervising juniors during the entire duration of these sessions.

Inflatable Fun

We’ve brought back our inflatable obstacle course in the sports hall. Whether your little one needs to burn off some energy or get their adrenaline running, we have sessions operating for 5 – 10 year olds and also 11-17 year olds throughout the week.

*socks must be worn at all times and children under the age of 11 must be supervised by an adult.

Swimming Short Courses

With theh olidays fast approaching why not keep your child occupied by enrolling them into our Swimming Short Courses. There's no better way to keep them active and help them improve their swimming ability at the same time.

Swimming Short Courses at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre are a great opportunity for children to gain water confidence and improve their technique through a week of back to back 30 minute lessons.

Kids Swim for £1

Enjoy the summer with a fantastic value swimming offer for children, allowing 11-17s to swim for just £1 (accompanying adults usual admission applies). The offer is available on participating Swim for All sessions before 10am. Bookings are recommended to guarantee admission. Swim for All sessions are great for family and friends to have fun spend some casual time together during the school holiday mornings.
